La investigación es de tipo correlacional, fundamentada en evaluar la relación existente entre el bienestar psicológico y las estrategias de afrontamiento en pacientes COVID-19, realizados desde mayo a octubre de 2021. La misma se llevó a cabo en el hospital de Huaycán, tomando una muestra intencional de 104 pacientes COVID-19. El personal de enfermería fue previamente instruido en técnicas de apoyo psico-emocional, así como en técnicas de bioseguridad y tuvo apoyo psicológico con frecuencia bimensual. Se concluyó que el apoyo del personal de enfermería, contribuyó en el desarrollo de estilos y estrategias de afrontamiento efectivos para la remisión de la enfermedad, pero éste a su vez, se vio sensiblemente contribuido por el proceso de formación y apoyo psicológico recibido por las enfermeras, en quienes este apoyo mejoró sustancialmente su salud mental, posterior a la culminación de la investigación(AU)  aCOVID-19, apart from its profound health impact, has significantly modified the way people view life, from facing this limiting reality of the patient who can debate between life and death, to variable realities of those who do not suffer from it. or especially, of those who contribute to the healing processes by providing their accompaniment.
